NSIP was launched in 13th Oct 2011 with a personal pledge being made by the First Sea Lord Admiral Sir Draw Stanhope GCB OBE ADC. It is currently being taken ahead under the logos of 'NAVYSAFE - Lethal to Our Opponents Safe to Ourselves'
