The purpose of our lab was going to begin to be familiar with rates of succession. Sequence is a quantity of persons or perhaps things following one another to be able or series. Considering that almost all living things comply with some sort of order, Joey Collins, Brian Carman, Bob Broadwater, Marisa Grondin, and i also attempted to figure the sequence rates of two different forests. In order to do this we all used the forest at the rear of the grammar school and the forest behind the track, by pond. One of my ideas was that the maple tree would be the many dominant tree in both forests specially in forest A, the grammar school. My reasoning for this was because I understand how a large number of maple woods I see inside the forest by my house, and other forests about me. I actually also required into consideration that maple woods are found in northern temperate zones, which include North America. Another of my own hypotheses was that the forest by the fish pond would be more aged than the elementary school forest. My reasoning just for this was because I think the pond forest is less annoyed. This is because it is farther away from humans so they will not hit them down. Humans are about the sole thing going through these kinds of forests with enough pressure to topple a shrub over. I understand that people could do it mainly because when the school went outside, some of my classmates were pushing trees and shrubs over or perhaps pulling off divisions. MATERIALS AND METHODS:
The materials all of us used to get this lab successful were the 2 forests, green flags pertaining to the edges of the plan, white red flags for the edges with the plot, green flags pertaining to the middle of the plot, 8 tape measurers, two colocar sticks, masking tape, pens/pencils, notebooks and a dichotomous key. Can be we began this laboratory was on Friday, May well 11. All of us divided the students into 4 groups. Every single group might eventually have a installment in which they will measure all the trees. Initially, we had to plot the quadrants. We started with Forest A, the grammar school. Mr. Master...
