The Enron Corporation was an American energy, commodities, and Services Business, which got its headquarters in Harrisburg, Texas. At the pinnacle of Enron, the company was one of many world's major electricity, gas, communications, and pulp and paper corporations. The organization employed around 20, 000 employees. In the year 2000, the business had believed to have profits of $101 Billion. The energy company was awarded " Americas Most Innovative Company” intended for six successive years. The firm is most known for the collapse as a result of an internal planned accounting scam, known since as the Enron Accounting Scandal. The organization is now looked upon as one of the best good examples on willful corporate data corruption and fraudulence. The Enron Scandal brought forth problem of companies accounting concepts, which ended in the creation of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. In the long run of 2001, Enron Firm filed to get bankruptcy safety in the The southern part of District of recent York ( F. G. Beck, July 2002, pp. 6-8).

The Enron Corporation gave in order to its buyers by sending and distributing electricity and natural gas through the United States. Enron constructed, managed, and managed power crops and sewerlines while operating under legal circumstances and worldwide infrastructure. Enron's large network of natural gas pipelines stretched ocean-to-ocean, and border-to-border. These included Northern Gas, Florida Gas Transmission, Trans western Pipe Company, and lastly included a partnership in Northern Edge Pipeline coming from Canada (L. Fox, This summer 2003, pp. ii). III. History

The Enron Corporation was your successor from the Houston Gas Company (HNG), formed by Kenneth T. Lay. The corporation was internally reorganized in 1985, and merged which has a natural gas organization called InterNorth. HNG's unique Chief executive officer (CEO) Kenneth Put, was able to take the leadership positions including chairman and CEO of the newly merged firm with the leaving of the InterNorth CEO Samuel Segnar. The InterNorth natural gas company was based away of Omaha, Nebraska. The acquisition in 1985 shaped an interstate and intrastate natural gas business with roughly 37, 1000 miles of gas.
