The fundamental aim of the project is to understand the working and assembly of heavy steam turbine. The project lies stress upon high pressure component of the steam turbine. With this, BHEL features provided all of us a system to visually understand the assemblage of Parli Project, which is undergoing in the shop unit. It basically consists of inner casing, outer casing, blades and rotor. The principle used in steam turbine is the temperatures entropy contour. High pressure component is coupled with intermediate pressure module which is coupled with low pressure component which is further more connected to central heating boiler. High pressure component is in turn connected to fondre and electrical generator and hence is utilized in the production of electric power. The Parli project in BHEL Bhopal of high pressure module of steam turbine is based on barrel system thus all assembly is done vertically. Time used is...
